League City Chamber’s Men Who Cook July17

LEAGUE CITY, TX. - Food aficionados will watch in awe as sixty “fabulous” chefs in black tie show off their culinary talents and serve palate-tempting cuisine at the League City Chamber of Commerce Fifth Annual Men Who Cook. This classic event will take place on Tuesday, July 17, at 6 p.m. at the beautiful South Shore Harbour Resort and Conference Center.

It will be an impressive line-up of one-of-a-kind recipes and in addition to taking pleasure in the culinary talents of those Men Who Cook, the organizers of the event, chaired by Dee Scott (Dee Scott Insurance) and Tabitha Billups-Lewton (AMOCO Federal Credit Union) have a great evening planned. Guests will enjoy cooking demonstrations, magnificent silent auction items, entertainment, sponsor exhibits and much more.

Five Star and Presenting Sponsor for this year’s event is AMOCO Federal Credit Union. Prime Cut Sponsor is CHRISTUS St. John Hospital and Creme de la Crème Sponsors are HomeTown Bank of League City and Change Magazine. In 2006 the chamber named a sponsorship in honor of South Shore Harbour Resorts’ Executive Chef Roland Kyburz. This year the Chef Roland Kyburz Sponsors are Amegy Bank of Texas, D'Vine Wine, Mar Bella Development, Norman Frede Chevrolet, Texas New Mexico Power and Trendmaker Homes. Sponsor of the Chef Hats is White Knight Technologies.

Tickets to the event are $30 in advance and $35 at the door. Tickets may be purchased at the chamber office at 260 Park Avenue in League City. Sponsorships are still available and tailored to fit any budget. Attire for Men Who Cook is black tie optional.
