Minnesota, the Land of Ten Thousand Lakes

We toured the little town of Nisswa to the huge Twin Cities. It is a beautiful state. Temperatures were considerably cooler so there were bonfires each night..very nice. The Mall of America is huge and boy there's some serious shopping going on there.

Nisswa is very quaint and homey surrounded by water and woods. Bicycles are a great form of transportation there. And it was not at all unusual to see deer wondering in the back yard or along the biking trails.

Two Harbors gave us an oppotunity to enjoy Lake Superior...my gosh that is a huge lake, more like an ocean. The flowers were just starting to bloom and the air is so fresh and clean. And did I mention that is one very big lake.

Minnesota is beautiful and I look forward to a return visit.
